Welcome to the user wiki for Proton Development Suite, a Basic compiler for the PIC10/12/16/18 series of microcontrollers by MicrochipTM, written and distributed by Crownhill Associates Ltd. This site is intended to facilitate the sharing of code, IDE plugins and other related items amongst users.

Content on this site is submitted by users and is used at your own risk.

The main sections of the site include:

  • Plugins - plugins for the PDS IDE developed by users.
  • Library Manager - a plugin and associated libraries to extend the functionality of the language.
  • Example Code - a selection of code samples submitted by users.
  • Projects - user created example projects.
  • Beginners - a section with useful advice for beginners to PIC programming or PDS.
  • News - recent news items.
  • Web Links - useful web links submitted by users.

Addition of content

Addition of content to the site is open to all users. Please keep all content closely related to the PDS Compiler. Site administrators reserve the right to edit or remove unsuitable content.

Adding content is not difficult - see Basic Editing for further information. Please feel free to practice adding content using the Sandbox.

Please do not post support questions on this wiki. Instead direct them to the forum.

Passwords

To edit pages you will need the password. It is currently pdsuser. To upload files for attachment, you will need a different password - please request this via e-mail.
